About Me

About The Trainer

Hi, I'm Emily, and I'm passionate about helping dogs and their owners build stronger relationships through clear communication, trust, understanding, and mutual respect. Using a balanced approach that combines structure, play, and real-world reliability, I help clients create a better life with their dogs both at home and in everyday situations.

My journey into dog training began with my first reactive dog. Like many owners, I loved my dog deeply but struggled to understand how to help her overcome her challenges. Determined to give her the best life possible, I immersed myself in learning about dog behavior and training. The transformation I witnessed not only strengthened our bond but also inspired me to help other owners navigate similar struggles.

To further develop my skills, I completed a two-year mentorship under an accredited, highly respected professional trainer. During that time, I worked hands-on with thousands of dogs of different breeds, ages, temperaments, and behavioral challenges. This experience provided invaluable insight into how dogs learn, what motivates them, and how to effectively communicate with them.

Education is an ongoing priority for me. I regularly attend seminars, study current research, and continue learning from some of the most respected professionals in the dog training industry to ensure my clients receive effective, modern training solutions.

Today, I have built a reputation for providing professional, results-driven training that helps dogs and their owners live more fulfilling lives together. Whether you're working through behavior challenges, building reliability, or simply looking to strengthen your relationship with your dog, I'm here to guide you every step of the way.

In my free time, you'll usually find me adventuring with my own dogs. I compete in agility with Tequila and train in sheep herding with Maya, both of which challenge me to keep learning and expanding my understanding of dog behavior, communication, and training. These activities not only fuel my passion for working with dogs, but also help me continue developing the skills and knowledge I bring to my clients every day.
